Dear God, I'm going to admit that I have been avoiding sitting in this room and writing to You. I have taken the last week to be angry. I'm still no closer to understanding why You're making us travel this road this way. there were so many other ways You could have done this...nicer ways...quicker ways. But I've come to terms that I will not understand. All I'm asking for in the midst of all this is that when we get to the other side, and You bless us with the child You promised, that You help us learn whatever lesson we were supposed to learn and traverse whatever trials You will make us go through. And on the other side, we can use that experience to bless others.
Togetherness seems to be one theme coming out of this. My mother said that You told her, "that we need to pray together." VJ said that my wife's trials are my trials, because we are in this together. Are we really still so far apart? I thought we were doing pretty well on that front. We've gotten so much closer since we've been in Dallas and closer still since this baby stuff started. I realize there's always room for improvement, but I thought it was progressing okay. I guess we have been growing together, but not toward You together. Well, bless each step we take, so it's easier to take the next one.
Spiritual Bonding - to be connected to God and joined spiritually to each other. To consistently place God at the center of your relationship and grow closer to Him as a couple.

Anger
Dear God, it's been about six weeks since I've been in my War Room. In that time, I've been to Chicago, Greece, and New Orleans. But the only thing that matters during all of that is that we had our first round of IVF in Greece and lost the baby two weeks later. My wife is devastated. Even though her mind tells her that most people have to go through more than one round, her heart still feels loss.
Me? I'm more angry. I felt for sure that You were orchestrating for this to be it. That You were going to bless this, and maybe even give us twins. Instead we're back to nothing again, and I don't know why. What is the point of this senselessness?! How can You put it on someone's heart to be a parent and then not give them a child? We are good and faithful people. Why do You want us to suffer? I've never doubted Your existence, but today I'm doubting Your motives.
I never wanted to go this route, but it's the one You seemed to be taking us. Then, after all we went through, You didn't even come through for us. I'm sorry, but at a time like this, it's hard to be patient and wait for Your timing. It's hard to sit back and think about Your plan. Right now, I'm just angry. I'm disappointed in You.
