That?!

Troy is so curious. He wants to know about everything. And his way of asking about something is to point at it and say, “That?!” in a very loud almost ear-piercing screech. Often, he will point at the same thing over and over and ask about it. We assume that he’s trying to learn by hearing us repeat the word again and again, so we try to go slow and enunciate so he can memorize the sounds. It’s pretty cool to see him trying to absorb so much knowledge.

He points at things on the TV, things in his books, animals on his sheets, objects on his onesies, things in the sky, bugs on the window...you name it. He is so eager to learn them all, and we are happy to oblige. Even if we have to repeat to him that that's an elephant on his sheets seven or eight times.
