Baby-Polar

The last couple of days, Troy has thrown a meltdown temper tantrum whenever we attempt to put him in the car seat. In fact, before he leaves in the morning, all we have to do is mention that it’s time to leave, and he starts screaming and crying. By the time we attempt to actually put him in the car, he’s slapping and kicking as well. It's strange, because he can be perfectly amiable all morning up until that point. Then, the maelstrom is unleased. We have no idea what’s going on with him. We thought maybe something happened at daycare to make him not want to go anymore, but he’s started doing it when my wife tries to pick him up from daycare too. It’s bizarre. I feel bad for my wife, because she has to listen to it in the car both directions. The only remedy that she's found to calm him down is to play music. Preferably, Katie Perry's "Fireworks," so he can chime in at the "boom, boom, boom" part.
