Pacifierless

Tonight was the first night that Troy went to bed without a pacifier. He didn’t ask for the pacifier, and we didn’t offer it or remind him just to see if he’d ask. He went straight to sleep, no issues. I’m hoping it’s the beginning of him deciding to wean himself off his addiction to that little rubber drug. But I guess we’ll see. This is how the daycare eventually got him off it for his naps, so crossing our fingers that we can replicate this at home.

UPDATE: He woke up whining in the middle of the night, and the only thing that would calm him down was the pacifier. Oh well. Baby steps.
