When the genie still didn’t magically appear, I
told him that the genie was gone, that Aladdin had used his last wish to set
him free. But Troy wasn’t buying it. He knew there was a genie in that “lamp,”
and he wanted his three wishes.
So, then I told him that the genie had gone to
sleep. Troy looked at me suspiciously, peered down the spout one more time, and
then whispered into the hole, “Night, night, Genie.”
