Troy started his new season of flag football today. He picked up right where he left off. On the first defensive series, he made two stops. On the first offensive play, he took the handoff up the sideline for a score. He was going so fast that the other team couldn’t catch him. They were all just trailing along behind him...a pack of green behind a white blur. Maybe it was the new cleats that we got him! The boy just needed a good pair of shoes, like Forrest Gump.
We also decided to try soccer this season. Not much happened there. Just a lot of learning the game. He is on the team with his friend Asher, so that’s cool. Both Troy and Asher would prefer to stand back and play defense rather than run up and try to score. Troy did get in on a couple of clears, but that’s about it.
