One

Lord, You have rewarded our faith and our prayers.  When we received the call today that we had a healthy, little embryo, we were overjoyed.  Only You could make something like this happen.  Only You could have given us our heart's desire.  I never doubted You could, or even that You wanted to, so it is such a joy to see You finally bring about the right time for it.

It was a bit of a struggle as my wife constantly kept falling back on doubts and fears.  Thank You for filling me with faith and confidence, and thank You for speaking to her through me.  Our testimony grows.  I don't know what's next, but I know You'll be there.  Please continue to work in us and let us see this miracle all the way to the end.

You are an awesome God, greatly to be praised.  I know too often my prayers are just complaints, so I want this one to be of thanksgiving.  Thank You, thank You, thank You...I cannot say it enough.  My heart overflows.  I am so excited.  I am so sure You want to do this that I have started to prepare.  I found myself thinking up names.  I was at the store, and I bought a baby outfit.  I've started to ponder ideas for the nursery.  Have a mentioned how excited I am?!  This is the best news!  Thank You, Father, thank You.
