In-Sync

I was watching a music video on YouTube and holding Troy in my arms. When the song ended, Troy said, “All done. Now, play the penguins.”

I said, “I don’t want to watch the penguins. I want to watch something else.”

Troy shook his head knowingly, like he was saying, “I got you, Dada. We’re completely in-sync. I know exactly what you’re thinking.” 

And then he confidently uttered a single word. “Dinosaurs.”
