The school took the kids to the Sea Life Aquarium and Legoland in the Grapevine Mills Mall today for their class field trip. Of course, Troy wanted to spend the entire time in Legoland, since we go to Sea Life quite often. It was fine, though, because most of his friends were doing the same thing, so he had people to play with. He spent the majority of the time in the playground, which meant that my wife and I were left standing around with nothing to do, like many of the parents. I tried to engage a few in conversation, but it's awkward, especially when they're heads-down in their phones. Oh well, Troy had a good time, and he appreciated having people there with him.
